Funded by Anahita Centre for Excellence (ACE) and Alteo Ltd, the programme aims at developing talent to ensure employability.

The Skills Hub Programme (SHP) is an Alteo Group initiative which emanates from its corporate social responsibility’s strategy. It was officially launched on the 17th August 2017 in the presence of David Martial, Communication and Development Executive, Sophie Strauss, Human Resources Executive; and Dina Ramgobeen, Corporate Social Environmental Responsibility Officer, at the Beau Champ Conference Room.

The SHP, which is in a pilot phase, is providing access to quality education and skills for nineteen young people from the Eastern region of Mauritius. This programme will give them the opportunity to grow and develop their talent with a view to ensuring employability and access to work. This programme is being funded through Anahita Centre for Excellence (ACE) and in-kind contributions by Alteo Ltd.

The programme will run from the 17th August 2017 to the 28th November 2017 and will be divided into three phases. Phase 1 will be focused on instilling a sense of self-knowledge and confidence leading to self-development. Phase 2 and phase 3 will focus on the tools and knowledge required to integrate the business world.

Roland Isabel, trainer from ICE Consulting and Training; and Jerome Alphonse, Training and Program Coordinator from Adecco Mauritius, have mounted the tailor-made course deliverables and will be acting as trainers and facilitators throughout the programme.

By the end of their journey, our nineteen participants will have a set of skills and competencies in view of obtaining a sustainable job and achieve their dreams and ambitions.
